Apocalyptic Antiques
Very early in development - check the devlog!
The apocalypse is old news. Society has partially rebuilt itself, but the ruins of the past still remain - and so do all their trinkets and collectibles. Scavenge abandoned ruins for items, build your store, and sell your curios to the curious!
Intended features (italicized = not available in public demo yet):
- Build your own store
- Find new items from scavenging, wandering merchants, or random events
- Track your collected items - which all have different rarities - in the Antiquidex: an index of all known antiquities! Can you collect everything in the game? (Selling items does not remove them from the Antiquidex. Aiming for several hundred unique items to be included!)
- Sell your items to customers at fair or ridiculous prices. There's no wasteland-lord you have to pay rent to, but you've got to convince someone to keep your store safe and guarded, right?
I aimed to get as much done for this as possible within the first 7 days of starting this project. There is an always-free, basic demo with just the features from those first 7 days available above. Over time, I will continue to expand the game and eventually get an artist to redo all of my awful placeholder graphics before giving it a proper release.
